May today there be peace within you. May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content knowing you are a child of God. Let His presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us.

Waiting on God
Today I sit waiting on God and His perfect timing. I wait for a couple of friends to grasp His great love for them and respond by laying down their own plans for their lives and taking up His. I don’t wait well. If I am honest I am a terrible “waiter”, often feeling worried and anxious (which I know is sin). I can’t help it sometimes. I know that I can help it, actually, but I am a work in progress after all.
God has impressed upon me that it is He who will do this work in them so that He gets all the glory He deserves. So, He uses me occasionally but for the most part I pray and wait…wait and pray. I pray for their response to His call – that they would give a resounding “yes” and move forward in His peace, purpose, and will.
I want to holler (in love), “Don’t you see the freedom you could have from that weight on your heart? That peace is there for the taking so take it already!” But I don’t, I simply wait.
